Lorka Scher is a multi-instrumental loop artist, harpist and dream folk songwriter. Her music has been described as intimate, haunting and medicinal. Drawing from her own post-war experience as the daughter of Soviet refugees, Lorka explores themes of liminality, belonging, reconciliation and wholeness in her work. As an experimental loop artist, Lorka builds with weightless breath, spacious strings, precise dissonance, slow tides and earthy cadence.
